‘Merlin’ Colin In ‘The Tempest’ – Tickets Now On Sale

Tickets are now on sale for The Tempest at Shakespeare’s Globe, starring Merlin‘s Colin Morgan and Olivier Award-winning Roger Allam.

Morgan plays Ariel and Allam Prospero in the new production, which runs from April 23 (Shakespeare’s birthday) until August 18.

As well as Jessie Buckley as Miranda, the cast also includes Jason Baughan, Sam Cox, Pip Donaghy, Trevor Fox, James Garnon, Peter Hamilton Dyer, Joshua James, William Mannering, Sarah Sweeney and Amanda Wilkin.Director Jeremy Herrin returns to the Globe after his 2011 production of Much Ado About Nothing.

The design is by Max Jones and composition from Stephen Warbeck.

Tickets are priced from £5 to £39 and available online, via the 020 7401 9919 phone line, and in person on Mondays to Saturdays 10am to 6pm (8pm on performance days) and Sundays 10am to 5pm (7pm on performances days).

Setting The Scene events with pre-performance talks take place on Thursday April 25, Thursday May 9, Tuesday May 14 and Thursday May 23.

Talking Theatre events with post-matinee Q&A sessions are on Wednesday May 8, Wednesday May 15, Saturday May 18, Saturday June 29 and Wednesday August 7.

Study day featuring scholars and theatre artists offering historical, practical and theatrical contexts to the play is Saturday June 15, and the ChildsPlay performance is on Saturday May 18.
